OMGPOP

When my friend sent me a link to this site for the first time, I almost didn’t click it because of the name. I’m glad that she talked me into it though. It’s a really fun game site, with lots of different styles of games. The entire site is built in flash, is the only downside.

My Favorite:  Letterbox

Pogo.com

It has a lot of free games, despite the advertisements everywhere to sign up for it’s $14 a month subscription.  Just be careful, and you can find quite a lot here.

My favorite: Monopoly Here and Now

Facebook.com

It has a lot of games if you poke around. Farming Sims, Quizzes, Restaurants, and Roller coasters. Most games are flash based, and only take a few minutes of play every day to get a good start. The main downside is they give a lot of extras for having friends. So if you only have a few friends that play games, the going is a lot harder, and slower.

My favorite:  Farmville

Featured Links: Real life humor.

Only a short entry today. Got to catching up on my RSS feeds, and lost track of the time.  (I need to do a clean out, I had 388 entries because of skipping two days… Yikes!)

A lot of the stories are pretty funny, although do be careful  it is something of a mixed bag.  I’d rate the worst in the PG range though.

Lots of funny random things that have happened in stores and so forth. An entertaining read.

My Favorite Web Comics.

What better than to cheer up the start of the work week with a good laugh? Here are my favorite web comics for a good laugh.

FreeFall

A Squid Space Captain, A Engineer that’s a Bowman’s wolf, and a robot. … Not to mention it has Pie!

Sheldon
A strip about a 10 year old who come up with software that speeds up the internet, it sells like hotcakes and he becomes rich. He lives with his Grandpa,  his pet pug,  his duck ,  and the duck’s son… Flaco the Lizard. Very Geeky, and very funny.

Unshelved

A comic strip set in a library….  That short description sounds a bit underwhelming. Don’t let it discourage you from giving it a try.

Not Invented Here A new comic about computer programmers.  One of the co creators of Unshelved, is a co creator  on this comic as well. :)

Ozy and Millie
A fun strip about growing up, and just being yourself. Sadly it’s no longer a currently running strip.
